Labor Day in Texas

Labor Day is around the corner and whether you’re planning to travel or spend the day around town, you’ll want to have the Zigi travel stroller on hand. Mima Kids USA has put together a must-do list of great places for family fun!

Dallas Dino Fest

The Perot Museum is a place where families can learn together. Dino lovers of all ages are invited to celebrate with everything from family-fun activities like digging for fossils in our dinosaur pit, face painting, and sightings of a life-size dinosaur roaming the halls, to deeper dives into the science of dinosaurs with talks from paleontologists, demonstrations from our preparators, trivia, workshops, and more.

Dallas Food Truck Rally

On Labor Day Sunday, guests can enjoy an amazing array of culinary treats from more than 25 of the best food trucks and carts in Dallas-Fort Worth. This family-friendly event will feature live music, activities, and giant games on the lawn. This is a free admission event.

Garland Labor Day Parade

The Garland Labor Day Festival will feature the 72nd annual parade, featuring local bands, sports groups, and colorful floats. The parade will begin at 9 am at the intersection of Glenbrook Drive and Ave. D. The parade will continue down Fifth and will end near the Granville Arts Center.

The parade is just one of a trio of events making for a festive day on Garland’s historic downtown square. It will be followed by the 6th annual Exchange Club Labor Day Classic Car Show, and an Iron Chef-style Kids BBQ Competition for ages 10-18.

Enjoy the weekend with your family. If you don’t have a Zigi travel stroller for your little one (newborn up to 37.5 lbs), find a retailer in your area.
