Labor Day in Illinois
- December 11, 2019
Labor Day is around the corner and whether you’re planning to travel or spend the day around town, you’ll want to have the Zigi travel stroller on hand. Mima Kids USA has put together a must-do list of great places to take your kids for that day.
Don’t miss out on the 41st Annual Chicago Jazz Festival, scheduled for August 29 – September 1, in Millennium Park. This is a free admission event. You get to see local Chicago artist and some of the greatest names from around the world on multiple stages. You can see the line up on their website. http://jazzinchicago.org/jazzfest/category/full-schedule/
Whether you’re viewing them from the dock or aboard an evening cruise, fireworks are the perfect way to end your Labor Day. This is a free admission event. The fireworks are perfectly synchronized to music on Lake Michigan. Check out their website to see a full schedule. https://navypier.org/explore/fireworks/
With daily free tours, how could you not go to the museum? $15 for adults, $8 for students, teachers, and seniors, and free for youth 18 and under. MCA offers many experiences that help kids and families to explore and create art together. MCA does offer a free stroller tour with admission. Don’t miss out on learning and seeing new art displays.
Enjoy the weekend with your family. And if you don’t have a Zigi travel stroller for your little one (newborn up to 37.5 lbs), find a retailer in your area.
